This addition and alteration to a 1980s ocean view beach house converted its tired design into a contemporary home. The new elements concealed the exposed piers and asymmetrical structure with cladding creating a new facade that is balanced and elegant. The entry was redesigned to provide a formal entry and glazed stair hall. The exterior was transformed with large open roof decks, contemporary siding, windows, and glass rails. The project is a great example of an exterior and interior transformation.
