This project consisted of expanding a 1900 eclectic Tudor.  The client’s need was to expand the existing master suite to enlarge the bedroom, create two walk-in closets, and alter the master bath. By removing the existing sunroom roof, extending the second floor with a new swept roofline and dormer, the existing home now appears as a more authentic Tudor. No need for additional space was requested on the first floor, yet the new design took advantage of the covered space by making a terraced covered porch with the ability to install screens.
